Email lsl8315@163.com for help with Pocket DV or privacy questions. Include your iPhone model, iOS version, Pocket DV version and the steps that led to the issue.

Do not send your Apple Account password or payment card details. Only attach recordings if you choose to share them for troubleshooting.

Record and save

Tap START CAMERA and allow Camera and Microphone access. Choose CLEAN, DV-01 or CCD-06, then tap REC to start and stop. On Preview, choose SAVE TO PHOTOS to save a copy, or SHARE to use the iOS share sheet.

Your original recording remains in the app’s local Library. Save important clips before removing the app.

Camera, sound or Photos access

Open iPhone Settings → Apps → Pocket DV to review permissions. Enable Camera and Microphone for recording. If saving is unavailable, check Photos access and available device storage. Zoom, torch and camera switching depend on your iPhone hardware.

One purchase includes every feature

Your App Store purchase includes CLEAN, DV-01, CCD-06, VHS-88, 720p/1080p recording and the teleprompter. No brand watermark, subscriptions or in-app purchases. English and Simplified Chinese interfaces are included.

outer-display collaboration and redownloading

Open Stories / Interviews on compatible devices running iOS 27.1. During an active camera session, iOS can present the outer-display teleprompter and collaboration controls. Availability is managed by iOS. Pausing the prompter does not stop recording.

To reinstall, redownload the app using the Apple Account that purchased it. There is no in-app restore step. For refund requests, visit Apple’s Report a Problem.

Privacy

No account is needed to use Pocket DV. Recordings are processed on your device. Read the Privacy Policy for permissions, purchases and support-message handling.
